Hattie Davis posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. She struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
