Philip Simmons had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Hilton Head Island on Wednesday. The Iron Horses put the hurt on the Seahawks with a sharp 14-3 win. The Iron Horses might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

Kyle Bachmann was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Ebeling, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Philip Simmons now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Hilton Head Island, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.

Looking ahead, Philip Simmons will host Hanahan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hilton Head Island, they will square off against May River at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
