The Norris Titans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They really took it to Hastings for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-35 victory on the road. With that win, Norris brought their scoring average up to 51.1 points per game.
Norris got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Marlee Emerson out in front who scored nine points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Grayson Piening, who scored nine points.
Norris' victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2. As for Hastings, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Norris won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Bellevue East at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Bellevue East is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games. As for Hastings, they will head out on the road to challenge Bennington at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bennington presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hastings in Nebraska (Bennington is ranked 36th, while Hastings is ranked 166th).
