Cheyenne Wells Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Trey Scheler
Trey Scheler was instrumental in extending Cheyenne Wells's winning streak to six on Friday. Scheler rushed for 188 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 120 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Cheyenne Wells' victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers takes on Granada at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Tim Provost stepped things up a notch to give Cheraw the 'W'. Provost turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 88 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 52 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 65 yards.
This year, Provost has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 32.2 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 7.83 receiving yards per game.

Coleman Came Up Big in Granada's 48-6 Victory
Granada found a leader in Maddox Coleman as the squad took down Walsh on Friday. Coleman turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 91 yards and two touchdowns.
Unfortunately for Walsh, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Coleman. Coleman rushed for 153 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 99 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in September of 2023.

William Ledbetter Makes It Two for Cheraw
Another Cheraw player making an appearance on this list is William Ledbetter. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 118 rushing yards dating back to last season.
This year, Ledbetter has run in 14 touchdowns while averaging 92 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 14.43 rushing yards per game.

Granada was led to victory by Alejandro Perez, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Perez rushed for 69 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
