Braintree won the last time they faced Weymouth and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wamps walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wamps.

Braintree had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-19, 25-10, 25-19.

Braintree's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bella Tran, who had six digs and five aces. That's the most aces Tran has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Joely Wang, who had ten digs and three assists.

They weren't the only good servers: Braintree was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Braintree's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Weymouth, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Braintree has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Wellesley on the 9th. As for Weymouth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Walpole on the 9th.
