Make it seven blowout wins for the Daniel Lions this season. Everything went their way against Seneca on Friday as Daniel made off with a 77-55 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Daniel has posted since December 20, 2023.
Hayden Anderson was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Ian Williams was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Defeat or not, Seneca got some senior leadership from Cam O'kelley who scored 15 points along with two blocks and Jalen Craig who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Craig is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cameron Clayton, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Daniel's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.7 points per game. As for Seneca, their loss dropped their record down to 14-4.
Daniel will head out on the road to challenge Pendleton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Pendleton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday. As for Seneca, they will be playing at home against Walhalla at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Walhalla's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matches.
