Volleyball Recap: Jenkins Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

Jenkins won the last time they faced Groves, and Emily Carter did her part to make sure it happened again. The Warriors walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Rebels on Tuesday with plenty of help from Carter, who had 13 assists and five aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

Jenkins easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-9.

The win made it two in a row for Jenkins and bumps their season record up to 12-9. As for Groves, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Coincidentally, Jenkins and Groves will both be playing Savannah Classical Academy the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Rebels will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
