The Alonso Ravens will take on the Robinson Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Alonso is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past King 17-1 on Saturday. With that victory, the Ravens brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Laine Anderson, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI, one run, and one double. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Leah Hernandez, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Alonso always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Robinson brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. Everything went their way against Armwood on Thursday as Robinson made off with a 14-4 win. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won four in a row.
Robinson got a massive performance out of Isabella 'Bella' Villanti, who scored two runs and stole Four bases. while going 2-for-3. Those runs were Villanti's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Dalia 'Mae' Campbell, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4.
Robinson's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Alonso, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4.
Robinson's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Alonso has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.9 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Robinson, though, as they've been averaging only 1.8 strikeouts. Will Alonso keep running through batters, or will Robinson buck the trend?
Everything went Alonso's way against Robinson when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as Alonso made off with a 10-4 win. Will Alonso repeat their success, or does Robinson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
