After three games on the road, McLaurin is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Mize Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 69-24, which was the final score in McLaurin's tilt against Pisgah on Friday.
Meanwhile, Mize entered their tilt with Stringer with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Everything went Mize's way against Stringer on Monday as Mize made off with a 45-21 victory. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Mize has managed all season.
McLaurin's loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-10. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.8 points per game. As for Mize, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
McLaurin came up short against Mize in their previous matchup back in November, falling 62-53. Can McLaurin avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
