Stevenson can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-51 victory over Horizon Christian. The Bulldogs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Stevenson's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Horizon Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stevenson will take on Kalama in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at. As for Horizon Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Grand View Christian Academy at 2:30 p.m.
