After flying high against the Blacksher Bulldogs on Tuesday, the Elberta Warriors came back down to earth. Elberta took a 49-30 bruising from Robertsdale on Thursday. Elberta lost against Robertsdale in their previous head to head back in November, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 64-36 score last time.
Gabe Stevens was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 13 points along with 4 steals. Kole Singler was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 4 steals.
Elberta's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Robertsdale, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.
Elberta will be playing in front of their home fans against Baldwin County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Baldwin County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Elberta in Alabama (Baldwin County is ranked 78th, while Elberta is ranked 365th). Robertsdale won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Foley at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. Foley comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
