With a playoff win on the line, Central rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Baker Hornets 11-1. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by six runs or more this season.

Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Baker, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-16.

Central will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hornets: the pair will be back at it again later today.
