Bloomfield Hills is returning to their home field after beating University Liggett on theirs, despite the fact University Liggett has dominated at home this season. The Black Hawks put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 8-1 victory on Monday.
Tyler M made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over six innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Dominic P was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Sawyer C was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Roosevelt's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Anderson on Monday. The Bears have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.
Ethan Ivity was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out 11 batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits.
On the hitting side, Roosevelt saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jadn' McGowen, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.
Bloomfield Hills pushed their record up to 18-12 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Roosevelt, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-14.
