Odessa has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Entiat Tigers in a holiday battle at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday at. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Saturday, it was a hard-fought match, but Odessa had to settle for a 52-50 defeat against Almira-Coulee-Hartline.
Loss or not, Odessa got some senior leadership from Jacob Scrupps who scored 27 points along with six rebounds and Dakota Steward who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds. Scrupps scored a full 54% of Odessa's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, Entiat's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 78-45 loss at the hands of Moses Lake Christian Academy.
Odessa's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-3. As for Entiat, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
