A Season-Best Effort from Dalton Walker Leads Elkhart over Buffalo
Elkhart was led to victory by Dalton Walker, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Walker rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 69 yards.
Unfortunately for Buffalo, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Walker. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Walker saw the Bison), he rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also picked up 65 receiving yards.

Trystyn Tidrow Turns in Season-Best Performance
Trystyn Tidrow produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Elkhart to the win on Friday. Tidrow threw for 294 yards and six touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 47 yards. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making eight total tackles and defending a pass.
Tidrow and Elkhart will face off against Arp at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tidrow will face off against Thomas Mckelvey, the Tigers' star quarterback. So who wins this QB-duel? There's only one way to know for sure.

Big Game from Wallum As Troup Won 50-6
Troup picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Bryce Wallum. Nobody could stop Wallum as he rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 107 yards and two touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes.
Troup pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Wallum and Troup will be playing in front of their home fans against New Diana at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Davyon Mapps Delivers Electric Effort Vs West Rusk
Davyon Mapps was instrumental in extending New Diana's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Mapps as he rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 112 rushing yards dating back to last season.
This year, Mapps has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 127.5 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 79.17 rushing yards per game.

Troup Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to Brett Wells
Brett Wells was instrumental in extending Troup's winning streak to five on Friday. Winona had no answer to Wells as he rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown.
Winona had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Wells it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Wells saw the Wildcats), he rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
