The Quad Cities Christian Eagles waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Morning Star Academy by a score of 47-39. This was a revenge matchup for Quad Cities Christian, as the team was forced to settle for a 43-40 loss when these two played last Thursday.
Seth Karl continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 19 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Korbin Wolf was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Quad Cities Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Morning Star Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
Quad Cities Christian and the Falcons will face off at 7:45 p.m. on February 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Faith Christian is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road. Morning Star Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
