Academy of Careers & Exploration is a perfect 10-0 against Silver Valley since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Academy of Careers & Exploration is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Lucerne Valley two weeks ago as they made off with a 24-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagle.

Hannah Hamm was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over 4.2 innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Academy of Careers & Exploration let Taylor Coffel and Kamie Costa run wild. Coffel got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, two triples, and three RBI, while Costa got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Coffel has posted since back in February. Laylah Cosek was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Academy of Careers & Exploration was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .640. They are 7-1-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Silver Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of Lucerne Valley.
Academy of Careers & Exploration's win bumped their record up to 8-6-1. As for Silver Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
Academy of Careers & Exploration took their victory against Silver Valley in their previous meeting on April 8th by a conclusive 22-2 score. Do the Eagle have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
