Baseball Recap: Hopewell Has No Trouble Against West Charlotte

Hopewell's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the West Charlotte Lions with a sharp 15-0 victory. Considering the Titans have won six matches by more than 14 runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hopewell is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. As for West Charlotte, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Hopewell has already played their next game, a 14-4 victory against Cox Mill on the 26th. As for West Charlotte, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 10-0 defeat against the Titans on the 28th.
