Superior has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Joseph City Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Superior suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 57-23 loss at the hands of Hayden. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Superior in their matchups with Hayden: they've now lost six in a row.
Meanwhile, Joseph City unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 71-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Williams. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Superior's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-12. As for Joseph City, their loss dropped their record down to 16-7.
Superior might still be hurting after the 65-41 defeat they got from Joseph City in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Superior was down 38-18.
