Daniel Porras posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He was dominant the last time he took on Silver back in April of 2025, so they probably should've seen this coming.

Porras' effort led Deming over Silver and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
