The Maynard Tigers will stay at home for another game and welcome the Hopedale Blue Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard on Monday.
Last Friday, Maynard didn't have too much trouble with the Tigers at home as they won 72-56.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Hopedale over the Crusaders in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Hopedale took down the Crusaders 57-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hopedale.
Hopedale's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Robbie Manning, who scored 15 points, and Patrick Madden, who scored 21 points. Madden hasn't dropped below 17 points for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Alex Lannibois, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds.
Maynard has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Hopedale, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.
