The S & S Consolidated Rams were the 67-41 winner over Non Varsity Tournament Opponent when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. S & S Consolidated took a 47-31 bruising from Non Varsity Tournament Opponent on Thursday.
Despite the defeat, S & S Consolidated had strong showings from Brayden Turner, who scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds, and Caiden Jones, who scored 2 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Turner scored a full 38.7% of S & S Consolidated's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
S & S Consolidated's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Non Varsity Tournament Opponent, their win bumped their record up to 9-20.
S & S Consolidated will be playing in front of their home fans against Colbert at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Colbert presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than S & S Consolidated in their respective states (Colbert is ranked 36th in Oklahoma, while S & S Consolidated is ranked 973rd in Texas). Non Varsity Tournament Opponent is on the road again on Thursday and play against Bynum at 12:00 p.m. on November 30th.
