It was a good run, but Kit Carson unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 58-43 bruising from Holly. Kit Carson was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Holly earlier this season, when they won 38-36.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Josiah Irwin, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards. Junior Farmer was another key player, going 5-for-8 on his way to 12 points and six rebounds.
Holly was led to victory by Drayden Williams and Devin Eaton. Williams dropped a double-double with 15 points and 14 boards, while Eaton posted 11 points along with five assists and four steals. Eaton has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Truman King, who scored 12 points.
Kit Carson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Holly, their record now sits at 13-8.
