The Skyview Wolverines will head out on the road to challenge the Thornton Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
In what's become a running theme this season, Skyview gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Gateway 73-17 at home. Skyview's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Skyview's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jada Kemm, who scored 19 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kemm has scored all season. Leila Estrada was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with eight assists and six steals.
Thornton posted their closest win yet this season on Monday. They skirted past Gateway 61-59.
Skyview pushed their record up to 11-3 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 45 points. As for Thornton, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.
Everything came up roses for Skyview against Thornton in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 61-23 win. With Skyview ahead 41-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
