Despite their loss, Christian Community saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Braxton Pugh, who rushed for 100 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 74 yards and two touchdowns on only seven passes, was perhaps the best of all. Pugh has become a key player for Christian Community: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
