Fellowship Academy came tearing into Friday's match with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Abilene Christian Panthers, posting a 54-25 victory. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 games by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Rhyia Ray, who posted 18 points along with seven steals and six assists. The contest was her sixth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Aaliyah Marks, who scored eight points and 14 boards.

Fellowship Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 28 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Fellowship Academy's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.3 points over those games. As for Abilene Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Coming up, Fellowship Academy will square off against DasCHE at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fellowship Academy's defense has only allowed 28.9 points per game this season, so DasCHE's offense will have their work cut out for them. Abilene Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
