Superior fell to St. Cecilia 69-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Colton May was a bright spot for the Wildcats, as he ran for 47 yards in the loss.
The Bluehawks made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,458 from 3,518. The advance stemmed from a 69-0 victory over Superior last week.
Riley Wiltfong provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Doniphan-Trumbull beat Thayer Central. He completed 12 passes for 211 yards and also ran for 73 yards. Wiltfong's favorite target this week was Jordan Slough, who caught 3 passes for 71 yards.
Slough was the best wideout in C2 District 7 this week as the Cardinals topped the Titans. Slough racked up 3 receptions for 71 yards. Noah Keller helped Doniphan-Trumbull's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 61 yards.
Doniphan-Trumbull's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Cardinals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Wiltfong has thrown for 736 yards and 8 touchdowns this season, while Slough has 11 catches for 272 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Sutton takes on St. Cecilia. At the moment, the Mustangs are in first, while Carl Tesmer's team is in third.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Sutton takes on the Bluehawks. Steve Ramer's team has allowed 45 points this season, while St. Cecilia has given up 46.
The Bluehawks led the league in scoring this week by notching 69 points on Kevin Miller's team.
