Doniphan-Trumbull won the last time they faced St. Paul and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Doniphan-Trumbull Cardinals claimed a resounding 70-42 win over the St. Paul Wildcats. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Jack Poppe was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 31 points and nine assists. Those 31 points gave him a new career-high. Ty Bennett was another key player, putting up 13 points and six assists.

Doniphan-Trumbull's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.8 points. As for St. Paul, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Doniphan-Trumbull wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 65-55 win against Central City on the 6th. St. Paul has also already played their next match, a 61-55 victory against Arcadia/Loup City on the 6th.
