That home run was Zook's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Westfall, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Lake Center Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 8-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
John F. Kennedy Catholic never got on the board in their matchup on Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Aquinas on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Knights. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.
