Meanwhile, Cactus Shadows had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against Eastlake on Thursday, falling 9-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Cactus Shadows has suffered since February 26, 2025.
Cactus Shadows saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashlyn Cundall, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
