Sacramento Valley recap October 8, 2013
Willows moved up to 522 from 597 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Sacramento Valley. The Honkers climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Hamilton 26-13.
Mt. Shasta fell to Fall River 27-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Durham's Josh Heath and Zach Marks have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Heath has thrown for 851 yards this season, while Marks has 14 catches for 401 yards. Cory Cook from Trinity leads the league in rushing with 569 yards.
The Wolves are in first place, while the Trojans are in fourth place.
Willows made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,417 from 8,513. The improvement was the result of a 26-13 victory over the Braves last week.
