He was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances with one  RBI.
 Smith wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  CJ Oxendine, who  went 1-for-4 with one  RBI.
As for Conway, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-12. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games.
 On Conway's side, they got a great performance from  Landon Barker as he  pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits.
