Simon Tech's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.
Karlos Hodgson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 39 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Daniel Garcia, who scored nine points.
Simon Tech's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-10. As for TEACH Tech Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Simon Tech will take on the Gryphons at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in California (Animo Pat Brown is ranked 1413th, while the Huskies are ranked 1422nd). As for TEACH Tech Charter, they will stay at home for another game and welcome the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on February 1st. Hopefully Animo Watts focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Tuesday.
