Medford's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Pioneer Charter School of Science II Pirates with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

While Medford won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 27-25, 25-16.

The victory got Medford back to even at 1-1. As for Pioneer Charter School of Science II, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Medford will host Lynn Classical at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pioneer Charter School of Science II, they will head out to challenge Madison Park RVT/McKinley RVT at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
