Neuse Charter lost to the Rebels on the road by a decisive 65-48 margin on Friday. Neuse Charter was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Neuse Charter lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jayvin Bradley, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and two steals. That was a full 37.5% of Neuse Charter's points, marking the 11th time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Atkinson, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
It was another big night for Micah Lesesane, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds for North Duplin. Another player making a difference was Dujuan Armwood, who scored 16 points.
Neuse Charter's loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-17. As for North Duplin, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season.
