The Bishop Lynch Friars lost against the Prestonwood Christian Lions on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Bishop Lynch was beaten by Prestonwood Christian 69-21. Bishop Lynch was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.
Despite the loss, Bishop Lynch still got an impressive performance from Legend Howell, who threw for 305 yards and a touchdown while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt. Another player making a difference was Ishmael Muhammad, who picked up 177 receiving yards.
Prestonwood Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caiden Collins, who rushed for 176 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry. Kellen Tasby was another key player, having thrown for 311 yards and three touchdowns.
Bishop Lynch's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Prestonwood Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-2 record this season.
