The Thunderbird Titans and the Lee Williams Volunteers squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Thunderbird Titans had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Volunteers. Thunderbird has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Thunderbird's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Lee Williams, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-6-1.
Thunderbird does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lee Williams, they will head out on the road to challenge Seton Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Arizona (Lee Williams is ranked 44th, while Seton Catholic is ranked 37th).
