Braxton Borde made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Borde was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, Trevor Clark was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Jubal Librado was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Itasca pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9 runs. As for Hillsboro, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.
