Even though the Cair Paravel Lions scored an imposing 62 points on Tuesday, the Bishop Seabury Academy Seahawks still came out on top. Bishop Seabury Academy walked away with a 69-62 win over Cair Paravel. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bishop Seabury Academy also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Bishop Seabury Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aidan Page, who scored 21 points along with nine rebounds. That's the first time this season that Page pulled down eight or more rebounds. Jace Smith was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds.
Bishop Seabury Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Cair Paravel, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
Bishop Seabury Academy will head out on the road to face off against Heritage Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage Christian Academy will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Cair Paravel will take on Bishop Ward at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
