Hamilton's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Belmont Cardinals with a sharp 15-9 win. Considering the Lions have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Hamilton is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Belmont, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hamilton will head out to square off against Smithville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Seminoles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.8 runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Belmont, they are taking a road trip to take on Shannon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
