Franklin-Simpson posted their biggest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 71-38 win over Allen County-Scottsville on the road. Given Franklin-Simpson's advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while Allen County-Scottsville is ranked 262nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Todd County Central ended up a good deal behind Jo Byrns on Tuesday and lost 64-48.
Franklin-Simpson has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Todd County Central, they dropped their record down to 8-9 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
