They claimed a resounding 65-33 victory over Addison at home. Given Vinemont's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 97th, while Addison is ranked 417th), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Vinemont got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Reagan Robinson out in front who scored 17 points along with seven steals and five assists. The match was Robinson's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Whitney Quick, who scored nine points along with eight steals and seven rebounds.
Vinemont's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Addison, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
Vinemont and Oneonta will round out the year against one another at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday at. Addison will finish 2023 at home by hosting Haleyville at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Haleyville is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
