Piper Conklin continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Laney, scoring 22 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Conklin has scored all season. Lauren Bastable was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five assists and five rebounds.
North Brunswick has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Laney, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.
North Brunswick will head out on the road to face off against South Brunswick at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. South Brunswick is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. Laney won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against New Hanover at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th.
