The Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their ninth straight loss. They fell 48-39 to Wheeler. Hammond Bishop Noll was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Wheeler apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Adrian Mcgee, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Jalyssia Crawford, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and five steals.
Hammond Bishop Noll has not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Wheeler, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-11.
Hammond Bishop Noll will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Griffith at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Griffith focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 last Saturday. As for Wheeler, they will head out on the road to face off against Hobart at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Hobart is ranked 302nd, while Wheeler is ranked 297th).
