Coalfield scaled the state rankings by moving to 140 from 174 this week, the biggest jump in A District 4. The Yellowjackets were able to move up by topping Greenback 33-24.
Coalfield made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,161 from 6,487. The advance stemmed from a 33-24 victory over the Cherokees last week.
Sunbright's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jacob Swint has thrown for 1,181 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, while John Martin Stephens has 33 catches for 503 yards. Swint also leads the league in rushing with 1,265 yards.
Keith Henry's team led the league in scoring this week by notching 33 points on Greenback.
