The Calvary Christian EAGLES's's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Indiana Christian Academy Whirlwinds at 7:15 p.m. on December 5th. Hopefully Calvary Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
Last Friday, Calvary Christian came up short against Heartland Christian and fell 48-40. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Calvary Christian in their matchups with Heartland Christian: they've now lost nine in a row.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Van Thang, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Braeden Pero, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, everything went Indiana Christian Academy's way against Colonial Christian on Tuesday as Indiana Christian Academy made off with a 66-43 victory.
Calvary Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Indiana Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season.
Calvary Christian came up short against Indiana Christian Academy when the teams last played back in November, falling 61-50. Can Calvary Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
