St. John saw some tournament action on Friday. They wrapped up 2024 with a 50-33 win over the Crockett Cougars. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mavericks.

St. John's has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Crockett, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.
