 Ridge Spring-Monetta was led to victory by  Jaiden Holloway and  Gabe King.  Holloway rushed for 195 yards while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, while  King picked up 15 receiving yards and a touchdown. Holloway really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 86-yard run.
 Ridge Spring-Monetta's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB  eight times. Wagener-Salley's QB  won't forget  De'Arie Kinard anytime soon given he sacked him three times. Another thorn in Wagener-Salley's side was  Jabarius Brunson, who picked up  a  sack, forced a fumble,  and made 17 total tackles (2.5 for loss).
 Ridge Spring-Monetta's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-2. As for Wagener-Salley,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridge Spring-Monetta will face off against Calhoun County at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Wagener-Salley, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Williston-Elko at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
