Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grapeland). They claimed a resounding 67-40 victory over the Normangee Panthers. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Sandies had established a 22 point advantage.

The win got Grapeland back to even at 6-6. As for Normangee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Grapeland is taking a road trip to square off against Groveton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Normangee, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Normangee Panthers face off against the Centerville Tigers at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
