Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Abbeville Christian Academy Generals, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell 45-33 to the Generals on Monday. Abbeville Christian Academy's loss continues an unfortunate trend for the team, making it four in a row.
Autauga Academy found their leader in underclassman Teonna Davis, who almost dropped a triple-double on 17 points, 14 rebounds, and nine steals. Davis has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Deja Carroll, who scored nine points along with seven steals.
Abbeville Christian Academy's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Autauga Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.
Abbeville Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Autauga Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
